SOTAX and the university of Pardubice enjoyed hosting a successful virtual seminar covering in-vitro pharmaceutical testing in the Czech Republic on June 17th.

We are grateful to the wonderful speakers from academia (University of Pardubice, Charles University, Masaryk University), industry (Mettler Toledo, Teva, Zentiva, SPS Pharma Services, SOTAX) and the Czech State Authority (SUKL) who gathered at the University of Pardubice to share knowledge on various topics including dissolution and physical testing. On that occasion a first dissolution brochure in Czech language was presented, which is now available on demand.

On June 18th, the speakers visited the pharmaceutical manufacturing section of the Kuks museum, where historical instruments are showcased including a SOTAX (Dr. Schleuniger) hardness tester model 4D from 1988.

The next seminar “Farmakokinetický Seminář” jointly held by the University of Pardubice and SOTAX will take place in June of 2022, and include two hands-on workshop in the lab.
